The United States Environmental Protection Agency explains, “Energy recovery from waste is part of the non-hazardous waste management hierarchy. Converting non-recyclable waste materials into electricity and heat generates a renewable energy source and reduces carbon emissions by offsetting the need for energy from fossil sources and reduces methane generation from landfills.”
Traditionally, such Waste-to-Energy programs have only been available to municipal governments. Over seven years ago Decotech moved to the forefront of our industry by becoming one of the first private companies in the state to participate in a local Waste-to-Energy program.
Decotech is a “Zero Waste-to-Landfill” compliant company. We have contracted with national and global vendors to convert all our waste to energy when re-use, recovery and recycling options are not appropriate.
